On July 5th the Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB) launched a new District structure which replaced the existing TREB Districts.

The goal of the TREB Task Force was to improve the search capabilities within the MLS®, and move from a district mapping system based on a “zone” identified by code numbers to one identified by commonly known names and true geographic areas that are more easily understood by both Members and Consumers.

You can key in the municipality and check off all of the community boundaries. Click here to access the Communities Map

As an example Whitby was known as District E15. Now a search for Whitby begins with the District: Durham, then the Municipality: Whitby, from there if you wish you can narrow down to the various communities found for Whitby:

• Downtown Whitby
• Industrial Whitby
• Lynde Creek
• Blue Grass Meadows
• Pringle Creek
• Williamsburg
• Rolling Acres
• Taunton North
• Rural Whitby
• Brooklin
